Bus
Lianes 1+ has direct services between Saint-Jean train station and the airport via Bordeaux Centre and Merignac Centre. You can buy your public transport tickets from a terminal in the forecourt of Hall B next to the bus stop for Liane 1+.
Taxi
There are plenty of taxis from different companies outside of the arrivals area of the airport.
Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport is situated 12 kilometres west of Bordeaux in the commune of Mérignac. The airport has two passengers terminals, the Main Terminal and the billi Bordeaux illico (low-cost) Terminal. The Main Terminal has two levels divided into Halls A and B, linked by a connector wing.
-Level 1 is Departures with each Hall housing its own check-in facilities. -Level 0 is the Arrivals and ground transportation level with baggage claim in each Hall.
The billi Bordeaux illico terminal is used exclusively for low-cost carriers. It can be accessed between Hall B and the cargo area. It has two security checkpoints and separate Arrivals Hall and Departure Lounge on one floor.
You will find car hire desks in the arrivals area on the ground floor, provided by Hertz, Europcar, Enterprise, Budget, Avis and Sixt. You can book a car at the airport, or save money by booking online before you travel.
