Coimbatore International Airport - CJB

Coimbatore airport is situated about 11 kilometers from Coimbatore railway station. Nearest airport is Salem airport that is situated about 157 kilometers from Coimbatore airport. Major airlines which are operating in Coimbatore airport are Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Spice Jet, Silk Air, Air Arabia, Indigo airlines and Air Costa. Terminal 1 in Coimbatore airport serves international flights and Terminal 2 in Coimbatore airport serves domestic flights.

Bus

Nearest bus stop is Sitra bus stop, Peelamedu which is about 400 metres from airport. There are regular bus services from Sitra bus stop. Different types of buses are available in Coimbatore like

City bus: Normal, LSS, Express and SLF

Moffussil: Normal, PP, Express, Ultra deluxe, Ultra deluxe AC, Hill Rider(9M Chasis)

AC buses.

42 paise per kilometer is charged for ordinary mofussil buses, whereas Super deluxe buses in Tamil Nadu charges 60 paise per kilometer. For ultra deluxe buses Tamil Nadu charges 70 paise per kilometer. 

Train

Coimbatore railway station is about 11 kilometers from Coimbatore airport. Traveler may hire auto and taxi to reach railway station from airport and vice-versa. To travel from Coimbatore to Chennai, one needs to pay INR 810 for third AC, INR 1140 for second AC and INR 1930 for first AC.
