You can take a metro, train, taxi or bus into the city. However, the Metro is the easiest and cheapest, and runs 24 hours a day.
Metro
The sleek, driverless Metro will take you to Nørreport Station in the city centre in just 14 minutes. Trains leave every 4-6 minutes during the day and every 15-20 minutes at night. Take the M2 train towards Vanløse.
Cost: DKK 36 for a three-zone journey, or DKK 80 for a 24-hour city pass for all zones
Buying tickets: Order online, at the metro station (machines take coins or cards only, no notes) or DSB ticket counters
Location: Above Terminal 3
Train
You can also take a regional train every 10 minutes from platform 2 during the day, and every 20-60 minutes at night. You'll get to Copenhagen Central Station in about 13 minutes.
Taxi
A taxi will take you into the city centre in about 20 minutes.

Location: Outside Terminals 1 and 3
Going to Malmö
You can take a direct train every 20 minutes to Malmö Central Station in Sweden, across the Öresund Bridge. Journey time is only 24 minutes.
Cost: Around EUR 14 one-way
Eventyr Lounge
Gorgeous 180° view Showers, free WiFi, free drinks, snacks, hot meals. Admission fee DKK 250.

Atelier Lounge
Colourful lounge with areas to work (green and blue) and to relax. Free of charge for business passengers from Air France, KLM, and Finair. DKK 189 admission fee for all other passengers.

Aspire Lounge
A comfortable lounge with complimentary Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and English newspapers. Free drinks, snacks and continental breakfast. Smoking room, power outlets. This lounge is open to the public and can be booked for DKK 160.

Opening hours: 6:00-20:45 daily
Aviator Lounge
A tranquil place with free WiFi, snacks, drinks, charging options. Modern Scandinavian design. Access fee DKK 155, payable at the entrance by credit card. There is also access to a range of customers, from those airlines which have signed an agreement with the lounge.

Hours: 5:00-20:30 Sun-Fri; 5:00-20:00 Sun
SAS Gold Lounge
A wonderful place to relax with fresh salats and new wines. Fast internet connection as well as smart office spaces are available.
Terminal 3, after security, immediately after fast track, Pier C
Hours: 5:00-30 minutes before the last SAS flight Sun-Fri; 6:00-30 minutes before the last SAS flight Sun-Fri
Regus Express business lounge
A very modern and work-focused lounge that offers workspace, meeting rooms, showers and breakfast. Open to the public starting around DKK 80 per hour.
Terminal 3, before security, east, floor 4
Opening hours: 07:00-18:00 Mon-Fri, Closed Sat-Sun
Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup (as opposed to Copenhagen Airport, Roskilde) has two terminals: Terminal 2 and 3. Both terminals share an airside passenger concourse and arrivals hall located in Terminal 3.
- Terminal 2 contains boarding gates A and B.
- Terminal 3 contains boarding gates C, D and F.
- The CPH Go area is dedicated to low-cost carriers (easyJet, Ryanair and Transavia) and can be accessed from Terminal 3.
Both terminal buildings are connected and are just a short walk apart.
Power outlets are rare at Copenhagen airport.
Some tips are:
- Terminal 2, before security, near the benches close to the 7-Eleven
- Terminal 3, after security, near gate C, between Yam Yam and the panorama window
- Terminal 3, after security, at the bench near gate D103
- Terminal 3, after security, seating area near gate C10
In the international transfer area, you’ll find a large play area for children up to age 10, with iPads, foosball, cartoons and complimentary strollers you can use as well as a nursery room with baby changing stations and a microwave for heating bottles and baby food.
Terminal 2, after security, close to Gates 110 and 111
Most restrooms at the airport have changing tables. Small play areas are located throughout the airport.
Pick up you purchases from Kastrup airport upon return. No heavy extra luggage on your return flight. Ask for the Pick-Up-on-Return service when paying for your purchases.The sales assistant will ask for your time of return, and then give you a receipt. On your return to Copenhagen Airport, you pick up your shopping at the Tax Free Arrival Shop in the baggage reclaim area.

There are no public showers at Copenhagen airport available. These two options are available though:

Terminal 3, before security
Opening hours: 06:00-18:00 Mon-Fri, closed Sat-Sun
All terminals and piers are interlinked and accessible by foot, but there is also a free shuttle bus between the terminals. The CPH Go pier, which serves low-cost carrier easyJet, is linked to Terminal 3.
A favourite of transfer passengers, the Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport is an easy two-minute walk via a covered walkway from Terminal 3. The hotel has 382 recently renovated Scandinavian-style rooms – some with sea views – two restaurants, a spa with a pool and golden egg meditation pod (said to cure jet lag), and a relaxed check out time of 12:00. Very comfy beds and a kettle to prepare yourself a hot beverage in the room. And if you have more time to spare it is only a 15 minutes ride into the city.

Copenhagen airport is just 8km south of the capital. With a short rail connection of 12 minutes, travellers with at least four hours stopover have plenty of time to explore.
Stroll along the Frederiksholms canal in the heart of the city to the National Museum on Ny Vestergade for a crash course in Danish history and culture. From the main train station, you can reach the museum by foot within 15 minutes. It's open Tue-Sat 10:00-17:00 and offers free wifi.
