Don Mueang International Airport - DMK

Don Mueang International Airport is approximately 25 kilometres north of Bangkok city.

The airport has two terminals connected by a passenger walkway.  Terminal 1 serves International arrivals and departures while Terminal 2 serves Domestic flights.     

The airport has four levels:
- Level 1 is Arrivals with baggage claim, customs, and rental car counters
- Level 2 is connected to restaurants and the airport’s 7-level carpark
- Level 3 is Departures level with airline counters and self-check-in; Level 4 offers restaurants and shops.

Taxi
Taxis are available outside Level 1 of the airport. Journeys to the city centre take 30 minutes to an hour depending on traffic and cost approximately THB 350 (USD 10). Be advised that taxi lines can be long but there is a managed waiting area with seating and entertainment. Uber services are also available at this airport.

Bus
The A1 bus travels between the airport and Chatuchak (Mo Chit) Bus Terminal every 12 minutes. The journey takes 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is 30 THB (USD 0.90).

The Coral Executive Lounge is a newly renovated and well-equipped business lounge offering high-speed Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and food and beverage. Using this lounge will also give you access to Fast Track Immigration services for arrivals and departures. A one-time pass is THB 1000 (USD 29).

Hours: 6:00-00:00 daily 

There is a free shuttle bus for travellers with a departure ticket from BKK airport. The journey takes an hour and a half, depending on traffic, and drops passengers on the 4th floor of BKK. The shuttle runs on the hour from 5:00-10:00 and 22:00-00:00; every 40 minutes from 10:00-17:00; and every 20 minutes from 17:00-21:00.

Sleep Box

Sleep Box offers 25 rooms with individual bathrooms for hourly and overnight stays. Rates are a THB 1000 (USD 29) for up to 3 hours and THB 200 (USD 5.80) for each subsequent hour. This includes a free food voucher. Overnight guests can stay from 15:00-06:00 for THB 2300 (USD 66.50). A lounge and coffee bar are also available.

Amari Don Muang Hotel

This airport is connected to the airport via an air-conditioned walkway. Day rooms are available for use from 08:00-18:00 for THB 1060 (USD 30). Overnight stays from THB 1935 (USD 56). Guests can use the fitness area and swimming pool free of charge.

Travellers who want to work in a private space or hold meetings can head to the Miracle Co-Working space, which offers a hot and cold buffet, work spaces, and a bar. The rate is THB 280 (USD 8) per 2 hours.

Budget, Sixt, Chic, and Avis have offices in the Arrivals area of the terminals.
