Metro

The purple Line E (Line E – Purple – Airport – Estádio do Dragão – Airport) runs every 20 or 30 minutes, depending on the time and day of the week and connects you to the city center. Make sure that you buy a ticket for the correct number of zones for your journey. A ticket for 2 zones is enough to cover most of the city center.

Location: Main Terminal, before security, Metro de Porto station
Cost: EUR 1.20 for a 2-zone one-way ticket, EUR 4.15 for a 2-zone all-day pass

Buses 

There are local buses which can take you across the city and to the surrounding areas. There are also private buses which make drop-offs and pick-ups at every stop on the route.

Taxi

There are plenty of taxis from different companies outside of the arrivals area of the airport. A taxi ride costs approximately EUR 20-30 from the airport to the city centre. Be aware that the fares could rise up to 20% in the evenings and during the weekends.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Porto Airport, also known as Porto Airport, is located 11 kilometres northwest of the centre of Porto, Portugal. The airport has a single passenger terminal with three levels.

- The Ground level is the Arrivals level
- Level 2 is the Departures Boarding lounge and has two small mezzanines one level down that lead to gates 1-8 (left side) and gates 14-19 (right side)
- Level 3 is the Departures level with check-in, food and drink, currency exchange and more

 Free luggage trolleys are available.

There are free showers available at Porto Airport. They are located near the boarding gates.
