International Terminal. After Passport Control, past the Duty Free Shop, turn right and take elevators at Gate 32B down to Level E.

Getting around the airport

A single passenger terminal

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is located around 24 kilometres south of Hyderabad. It is an airport hub for airlines such as Alliance Air or SpiceJet.

The airport has a single passenger terminal. The western side of the terminal handles international flights, while the eastern side is for domestic flights. There are 46 immigration counters and 96 check-in desks with 19 kiosks for self check-in. There are a total of nine gates, seven of which are located on the south side of the terminal and another two on the north side. Public lounge facilities are provided by Plaza Premium Lounge, which operate three lounges in the terminal. There are also three separate lounges for VIPs.

Domestic Terminal. After Immigration and Passport Control, take elevators near Gate 28 down to the entrance on Level E.

Escape from the crowds for a couple hours in this quiet and peaceful lounge. It’s the perfect place for business travellers to get some work done. Along with excellent tarmac views, guests can expect to find comfortable seats, helpful service, and a delicious local cuisine selection. Try the delicious Hyderabadi Biryani with authentic Indian Chutneys. NOTE: This lounge is only accessible for passengers departing on domestic flights. NOTE: Children under 2 years old are admitted free with an adult. NOTE: Passengers connecting from international flights in the late evening must have an onward boarding pass in order to proceed through domestic security and access the lounge. Please contact your departing airline for check-in desk hours if you do not have an onward boarding pass.

Getting into Hyderabad

Pushpak buses are the easiest way

Bus

Pushpak–Airport Liner is a luxurious express bus service from the airport to important destinations in the city & vice-versa. These air-conditioned, low floor buses offer safe, secure and comfortable travel between the airport and different points in the city.

Location: The bus stop is in front of Arrivals
Cost: A one-way trip to Hyderabad costs at INR 265
Operating Hours: The buses run between 05:15-21:45 daily

Taxi

Radio Taxi service at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is provided for the convenience of customers. It is an air-conditioned cab service with charges payable on the basis of meter reading at the end of the journey.

Location: The taxis stand in front of Arrivals
Cost: INR 21 per km, minimum INR 20 per km for the first 2 Km travelled
Note: Radio taxi can’t be pre-booked from the airport and a 25% night surcharge is applicable between 23:00-05:00
