Getting around the airport
Three terminals and a minibus
General Mariano Escobedo International Airport, also known as Monterrey International Airport, is one of the fastest-growing airports in Mexico. It is located about 30 km away from Nuevo León, Mexico and serves as a hub for Aeroméxico, Magnicharters, and VivaAerobus. The airport consists of three passenger terminals and an air cargo terminal.
- Terminal A houses check-in facilities, baggage claim carousel, restaurants and shopping facilities, customs, airline offices, and a satellite building. The terminal is connected to the satellite building via underground tunnels which comprises all the VIP and waiting lounges, migration and boarding gates. The satellite building is divided into two concourses: the North Concourse for domestic flights (Gates A1-A15) and the South Concourse for all international flights (Gates B3-B8)
- Terminal B houses 8 departure gates as well as a VIP lounge
- Terminal C houses all flights from the low-cost carrier, VivaAerobus, as well as a premium lounge
Transferring between the terminals
The airport offers its passengers a minibus that travels between Terminal A, Terminal B and Terminal C. These minibuses operate every 10 minutes between 05:00-00:00 daily.
