Jaipur International Airport - JAI

Jaipur International Airport is the primary airport serving Jaipur, the capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan. Located in the suburb of Sanganer, about 13 km from Jaipur city centre, JAI Airport ranked as the 11th busiest airport in India. 

Terminal 1: international departures and arrivals

Terminal 2: serves domestic flights only 

Bus
The bus line which leads you to Jaipur city centre is the 6A bus line, which goes from Malviya to Khirni Phatak. You also have other lines going to the Jaipur Railway station or to the main Junction.

Location: About five minutes from the passenger terminal
Cost:  INR 17 to Jaipur city 
Operating hours: 05:00-21:30 daily, passing every 10-30 minutes

Train
The main train station in Jaipur is located 13 km from Jaipur airport. It is called the Jaipur Junction Railway station, from where you can catch many train connections. Get there by taxi, car or bus (6A).

Pre-paid Taxi
A taxi ride from Jaipur Airport to Jaipur city centre takes about 30 minutes. At the booking counter, you will receive a ticket to give to your taxi driver before boarding the taxi.

Club One Class Lounge, International Terminal T2

It is a full-fledged lounge and offers all the required amenities like AC, disabled access, flight information monitor, periodicals and magazines, refreshments, TV, Wi-Fi and showers. Lounge has a seating capacity to accommodate 50 individuals at a time. Sofa and tables are arranged in one side, whereas buffet system is arranged on the other side.

Location: International Terminal T2, after security hold area, in the first floor, next to escalator

Café Coffee Day lounge, Departure

Momos, Hot and Spicy Chicken Winglets, Crispy chicken, Italian delight Pizza etc. are some of the main food items served in this lounge. There is also a wide range of teas, classic hot coffees, cold coffees, smoothies and desserts in this lounge.

Location: Terminal 2, second floor departure near Jhaswasr Circle
Opening hours: 11:00-21:00 daily

VIP Lounge

The new terminal at Jaipur airport also has three VIP lounges for special guests. VIPs can sit and relax  comfortably without any distraction in one of the most comfy and spacious VIP lounges. There are two lounges at departure hall and one at arrival hall in the second floor of new terminal. 

There are ample power outlets in Jaipur airport in the visitors and security hold area. 

Avis Rental Car

Avis rental car, leading international car rental company offer car rental services from Jaipur airport. They don’t have an outlet inside the airport. However, travelers may avail the services by booking car online and arrange pickup services from airport. Rate starts from INR 1100 for economy cars like Toyota Etios. Rate is INR 1500 for Toyota Innova and INR 1800 for Toyota Corrola 2.0. Booking can be done online through the website.

Myles Rental Car

Myles Rental car, leading car rental company in India offer car rental services from Jaipur airport. They don’t have an outlet inside the airport. However, travelers may avail the services by booking car online and arrange pickup services from airport. Different plans are available to suit your requirement like hourly, weekly and monthly. Rate starts from INR 1440 for Maruti Swift and INR 1790 for Volkswagen Vento to INR 2630 for Toyota Innova and INR 2880 for Mahindra XUV 500 (all the rates stated above are on daily basis). Minimum age needed to rent a Myles-Nano is 18 years. However, the age limit is 23 years for all other cars. Valid driving license, voter ID/passport/aadhar card and a credit card is needed for availing car rental facility. Travelers need to pay through credit card/debit card/net banking only as they don’t accept direct payment as cash.
