Jersey Airport is a small transport hub, around 8km north-west of the island's capital, St Helier.
It has one terminal with limited facilities. Landside, there are a couple of cafes, and airside, there's the Island Market and The Bar. All shopping is airside, with shops selling: healthcare products, pearl jewellery and local pottery and wine, as well as a WHSmith newsagents and a World Duty Free. There are two airside lounges - one for British Airways and Flybe customers, and one for Blue Islands customers.
The terminal is scheduled for demolition and modernisation, due to the former use of unsafe asbestos building material, but plans are still in progress.
Note that: As Jersey is part of the 'Common Travel Area', you will only be subject to limited ID card checks before flying to the UK and Ireland. However, you will have a full passport check when flying elsewhere.
The Liberty Bus service (number 15) takes you to Liberation Station in St Helier in around 30 minutes, via Red Houses and St Aubin's Village. You can check see the next departure time on a screen at the bus stop. The service runs Mon-Sun, 06:00-23:20 (23:05 on Sunday) every 15-30 minutes.

Taxi
Public taxis operate from the airport. You can also pre-book a cab with companies like Citicabs, Domino Cabs, Luxicabs and Yellow Cabs. Journey time is around 20 minutes.
Cost: Around GBP 15 to St Helier Location: Outside Arrivals (public taxis), behind Arrivals car park (pre-booked pick-up)
There's a small chapel on the ground floor of Departures, just before the exit doors leading to the boarding gates. This facility is open to people of all faiths, to use for quiet prayer or contemplation.
There's an aviation-themed play area in Arrivals, next to the Aviator Café. The play area, which features a replica aeroplane and various amusements, is suitable for children up to six years old. Adult supervision is required at all times. Height restrictions apply.

Main Terminal. After the Security Checkpoint, the lounge is located next to Gate 3.

There is a taxi rank next to the arrivals terminal. All taxis are metered, and different tariffs apply depending on the time of day you are travelling. The journey into St Helier costs around £12.
