Kaunas Airport - KUN

Kaunas Airport is located in Karmelava, 15 kilometers northeast of the centre of Kaunas. The airport has three levels. 

- Ground level is for arrivals and it consists of bank branch, ATM, ticketing offices, restaurant and convenience store.
- Level 1 is for departures. Before security, you will find check-in desks, aviation security posts and luggage storage. After security, you will find duty-free shops, bakery, and food to go.
- Level 2 is for Non-Schengen departures.

The car rental companies are in a separate building near the passengers’ main terminal.

City bus
Local bus 29 connects the airport with central Kaunas, including the main bus and train stations. Bus fare is payable by rechargeable fare cards. They can be purchased and loaded with funds at the Narvesen convenience store on the ground level in the Passenger Terminal. Single-use tickets are EUR 1. Buses run every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day.

Intercity bus
There are also intercity buses that are going to/from following cities: Anyksciai, Birzai, Ignalina, Kupiskis, Marijampole, Moletai, Obeliai, Rokiskis, Sirvintos, Utena, Vilnius, Visaginas, Zarasai.

Location: 50 meters from the passenger terminal, between long-term parking lot (P1) and passenger terminal.

Other buses / Shuttle
Buses that are going to Riga and Minsk are located opposite of the passengers terminal

Taxi

The taxi rank is located near the passengers terminal.
The journey to the city center takes about 20 minutes and costs about EUR 20.

You are welcome to stay at the three-star “Air Hotel” just 50 m away from the passenger terminal.
