Pune Airport - PNQ

Pune International Airport, also called Pune Airport, is the international airport of the Indian state of Maharashtra. The airport is a civil enclave operated by the Airports Authority of India at the eastern side of Lohegaon Air Force Station of the Indian Air Force. Located in the northeast part of Pune city, this airport operates both with domestic and with international flights. Between Pune Airport and Pune city centre, there are around 10 km. Pune airport is a small and well-maintained airport situated in the state of Maharashtra. Pune airport is also known as Lohegoan airport is situated about 10 kilometres from the city centre. There are one arrival terminal and one departure terminal for this airport. Domestic boarding is from the first floor and international boarding from the ground floor. Three check-in counters are provided at the departures terminal. Jet Privilege Platinum and Gold members can check-in from counter six. Main airlines operating at Pune airport are Air India Limited, Jet Airways, Indigo, Spice Jet, Lufthansa and Go Air. International flight connectivity is limited and Pune airport serves international flights to Dubai, Frankfurt, Sharjah and Abudhabhi. The nearest airport from Pune airport is Mumbai airport, which is situated about 199 kilometres from the airport. 

A number of convenient transport options are available for travel between the airport and Pune city.

Bus 

There are regular AC buses from Pune airport run by PMPML (Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited).

Pre-paid taxi

The pre-paid taxi is also available. The price level of a taxi ride from Pune Airport to Pune city centre will depend on which taxi you take (which model), how many people you are, and time.

Cost: INR 80 for first four kilometres. From the fifth kilometre, INR 16 per kilometre

Train

Distance from Pune airport to the railway station is 11 kilometres. Travellers may pick up a cab from the airport to reach the railway station. There are regular train services from Pune airport to Mumbai. The rate is INR 490 for third AC, INR 695 for second AC and INR 895 for first AC.

Lounge services by Lufthansa

Lounge services for Lufthansa travelers is provided by P.K. Hospitality services. This is a non-smoking lounge. This lounge is situated inside terminal, before security control. This lounge offers both restrooms and TV for travelers. This lounge is open for travelers with different card types like HON Circle, First Class, Senator, Business Class and Star Gold Card. However, frequent travelers may not make use of this lounge.

There are ample charging points in the extreme end side of 02 spa. Power outlets are also provided inside the lounges. There are pillars in the centre of airport, which also offers power outlets. There are six charging spots in the first floor next to the lift.
