Three terminals
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, also known as Ahmedabad Airport, is an international airport serving the Indian cities of Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Gandhinagar. It is the 8th busiest airport in India and operates with GoAir and Jet Airways. Located in Hansol, 9 km from the northern Ahmedabad, the airport was renamed in honour to the Prime Minister of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Terminal 1: This terminal serves domestic flights and has two floors. It consists of thirty check-in counters, lounge facilities, luggage reclaim, and almost 250 car parking spots.
Terminal 2: This terminal serves international flights and also consists of a cargo terminal. The international terminal consists of four aerobridges, 32 check-in kiosks, and 200 car parking spots.
Terminal 3: This terminal is mainly used to serve secondary traffic and Hajj pilgrims. Terminal 3 offers nearly 200 parking spots as well.
Transfer between the terminals
An underground corridor connecting both terminals has been designed to assist hassle-free transfer of travellers between the domestic and international terminals.
